Weekend's club championship round-up

Antrim

Cargin defeated Dunloy in the Antrim SFC Final. Click here for the match report.

Armagh

Cian McConville's late goal sealed the deal as Crossmaglen Rangers defeated Madden 1-17 to 0-14 on Sunday.

Level at the interval, 0-7 each, Madden edged ahead after the restart with Niall Grimley and Oisín O'Hara effective.

The O'Neill brothers, Rian and Oisín were influential for Cross with McConville adding a major in the closing stages.

Clan na Gael beat Clann Éireann 0-14 to 1-9 on Saturday evening.

Stefan Campbell was in brilliant form for the winners, at one stage landing five points on the spin.

Following a Conor Turbitt goal, Campbell responded with the final score to ensure Clan na Gael prevailed.

Cavan

Kingscourt Stars and Gowna will contest the Cavan SFC Final.

Jordan Morris rifled over a couple of late points to earn the Stars a 1-12 to 1-8 win over Ramor United.

In the opening period Odhran Cunningham and Killian Maguire had struck goals, but Kingscourt eventually advanced.

Holders Gowna recovered from a shaky start to defeat Crosserlough 1-18 to 0-14.

Gowna trailed by five points early on, but thundered back to be back on terms at the break, 0-8 each.

Conor Madden supplied the only goal of the game for Gowna after the restart.

Clare

Clonlara and Crusheen registered impressive wins to advance to the Clare SHC decider.

With a nice blend of emerging and established players, Clonlara chalked up a 0-23 to 0-15 win over Feakle.

Aidan Moriarty landed five from play, while Colm O'Meara and Michael O'Loughlin also impressed.

The Galvins, Colm and Ian, were effective alongside John Conlon, who continues to provide leadership.

Crusheen delivered a composed performance when defeating Scariff, 1-24 to 0-19.

Oisín O'Donnell, Breffni Horner, and Conor O'Donnell were in splendid point scoring form, while Fergus Kennedy netted a goal.

Cork

Castlehaven and Nemo Rangers will contest the Cork SFC Final.

Passionate throughout, 'Haven enjoyed an encouraging 1-16 to 2-11 triumph over a Stephen Sherlock inspired St Finbarr's.

Sherlock contributed 1-7, but it wasn't enough to deny a determined Castlehaven outfit.

Michael Hurley contributed seven points, including six from play, while Brian Hurley and goalscorer Jack Cahalane were other key figures in 'Haven's triumph.

Two opportunistic Luke Connolly goals ensured Nemo Rangers beat Duhallow 3-10 to 1-8.

Conor Horgan also rattled the Duhallow net as Nemo were solid defensively throughout.

Derry

Glen will meet Slaughtneil at the semi-final stage of the Derry SFC.

In the other last four clash, Magherafelt will face Newbridge.

Conor Glass and Danny Tallon scored goals in Glen's 2-11 to 0-9 victory over Kilrea.

Two late points from Christopher Bradley guided Slaughtneil to a narrow 1-10 to 1-8 win over Bellaghy.

Substitute Niall Higgins' late point earned Magherafelt a 0-11 to 0-10 triumph over Ballinascreen.

Newbridge produced a dynamic second half display to beat Lavey 0-18 to 1-13.

Trailing 1-10 to 0-9 at the interval, Newbridge, with Sean Young, Paudie McGrogan, and Aidan McGlone effective, responded impressively.

Donegal

Gaoth Dobhair and Naomh Conaill will contest the Donegal SFC Final.

Ethan Harkin, Odhran MacNiallais, and Stephen McFadden scored Gaoth Dobhair's goals in a 3-9 to 0-11 win over Sean MacCumhaills.

Oisín Gallen contributed 0-10 for MacCumhaills, including four from play, but Gaoth Dobhair still reached a first final since 2019.

Naomh Conaill will be involved in the Donegal showpiece for the seventh year in a row.

The Glenties club edged out St Eunan's 0-11 to 0-9 with Ciarán Thompson, John O'Malley, Anthony Thompson, and Jeaic Mac Ceallabhuí providing important scores.

Down

Portaferry and Ballycran advanced to the Down SHC Final at the weekend.

Daithí Sands struck two goals as Portaferry overcame Ballygalget 2-18 to 2-9.

Despite trailing by four points at the break, Ballycran recovered to defeat Liatroim Fontenoys, 2-20 to 2-17.

PJ Davidson struck two goals for Liatroim, but Liam Savage and James Coyle netted for Ballycran late on.

Dublin

Ballyboden St Enda's and Kilmacud Crokes will contest the Dublin SFC Final.

On Sunday afternoon at Parnell Park, Boden proved too strong for St Jude's, emerging 3-13 to 0-9 winners.

Ryan Basquel, Ryan O'Dwyer, and Warren Egan scored goals for Ballyboden, who now face the AIB All-Ireland Club champions in the final.

Crokes and Raheny were involved in a thriller on Saturday evening with penalties required following a 2-15 each draw.

Darren Lunney was in excellent scoring form for Raheny scoring 1-5, but Crokes, who introduced Shane Walsh at half-time, survived a dramatic encounter.

Fermanagh

Kinawley defeated Belnaleck 1-15 to 2-11 after extra-time in Saturday's Fermanagh SFC Quarter-Final.

Ruairí Corrigan's last gasp point proved to be the decisive score as Kinawley reached the penultimate round.

On Sunday Erne Gaels edged out Ederney, 0-11 to 1-7.

A brilliant score in the closing stages from Ultan Kelm ensured Erne Gaels advanced to a semi-final meeting against Enniskillen.

In the other game, Derrygonnelly will face Kinawley.

Galway

Holders Maigh Cuilinn will face Mountbellew-Moylough in the last four of the Galway SFC.

Corofin and Milltown are also set to do battle following an exciting Sunday of action in the west.

Peter Cooke and Paul Kelly scored critical late points for Maigh Cuilinn after a Matthew Thompson goal had steered Salthill-Knocknacarra ahead late on.

Maigh Cuilinn secured a 0-13 to 1-9 win, while Mountbellew-Moylough were also fortunate to survive a real scare against St James.

Matthew Barrett's injury time point ensured Mountbellew-Moylough overcame St James, 1-9 to 0-11.

Corofin defeated old rivals Tuam Stars 0-11 to 0-9, while Milltown enjoyed a 0-16 to 1-11 triumph over Claregalway.

Kildare

Naas and Celbridge will meet in the final of the Kildare SFC.

Darragh Kirwan's 54th minute goal was decisive as Naas, managed by Joe Murphy, defeated Clane 1-8 to 0-9.

Paddy Brophy's injury time goal sealed Celbridge's 2-16 to 0-17 victory over Athy.

Celbridge led 0-11 to 0-8 at half-time with Fergal Conway bagging a goal after the restart.

Laois

Camross defeated Abbeyleix in the Laois SHC Final. Click here for the match report.

Mohill defeated St Mary's, Kiltoghert in the Leitrim SFC Final. Click here for the match report.

Limerick

Jack Canny scored a critical goal as Monaleen defeated Kildimo-Pallaskenry 1-13 to 0-14 in a tight Limerick SFC Quarter-Final.

Monaleen will now face Newcastle West in the last four.

Fr Casey's were 3-15 to 4-3 victors against Na Piarsaigh to book a Semi-Final clash with Adare.

London

Tír Chonaill Gaels, with Liam Gavaghan prominent, were 2-14 to 0-7 winners over North London Shamrocks.

TCG await their opponents in the London SFC Final as the St Kiernan's versus Fulham Irish match was abandoned.

In the closing stages with St Kiernan's 1-12 to 1-11 ahead, a Fulham player suffered a leg injury.

Louth

There was no shortage of Louth SFC Semi-Final drama as Naomh Máirtín finished with a real flourish to beat Dreadnots 1-16 to 3-9.

Trailing by six points with just over five minutes remaining, the Martins somehow recovered.

Darragh Shevlin, Pepe Smith, and Jay Hughes scored goals for Dreadnots, but Naomh Mairtín still did enough to win.

Sam Mulroy scored 1-8, while Val Leddy and Tom Gray also contributed vital points.

Ardee St Mary's were 4-14 to 3-10 victors against St Patrick's in the other last four encounter.

Meath

Summerhill defeated Ratoath in the Meath SFC Final. Click here for the match report.

Monaghan

Scotstown and Inniskeen will meet in the Monaghan SFC Final.

Substitute Francis Maguire's late goal sealed a 1-13 to 1-6 win for Scotstown against Corduff.

Last year's Intermediate champions Corduff were defiant with Diarmuid Mallon bagging a goal, but Scotstown prevailed.

Inniskeen will feature in the decider for the first time since 1990 following a 2-16 to 2-12 triumph over Clontibret.

Seamus Kindlon and Michael Monahan were Inniskeen's goalscorers.

Roscommon

St Brigid's and Boyle will be involved in the Roscommon SFC Final.

Ben O'Carroll (2), Eddie Nolan, and Ronan Stack netted goals in Brigid's convincing 4-15 to 0-12 win over Roscommon Gaels.

Cian McKeon's major was a crucial moment as Boyle defeated Pádraig Pearses 1-7 to 0-9.

A couple of late frees from Donie Smith were also hugely important for Boyle.

Sligo

Coolera/Strandhill and St Molaise Gaels will contest the Sligo SFC Final.

Intermediate winners last year, St Molaise Gaels enjoyed a 0-14 to 0-10 success over Drumcliffe-Rosses Point with Alan McLoughlin and Cathal Herron landing late scores.

Coolera/Strandhill impressed in a 2-14 to 1-9 victory over St Mary's with Barry O'Mahony and Mark McDaniel the goalscorers.

Tipperary

Clonmel Commercials and JK Brackens advanced to the Tipperary SFC Final.

On Saturday Brackens overcame Upperchurch-Drombane by the narrowest of margins, 1-14 to 1-13.

The same two clubs are involved in a Tipperary SHC relegation battle next weekend.

Seanie O'Connor, Jack Kennedy, and Conal Kennedy were instrumental as Commercials defeated Moyle Rovers 0-14 to 0-10.

Tyrone

Éire Óg, Carrickmore defeated Eoghan Ruadh, Dungannon in the Tyrone SHC Final. Click here for the match report.

Waterford

The pairings for the Waterford SFC Quarter-Finals have been confirmed.

Brickey Rangers face Kilrossanty, Gaultier will meet the Nire, Ballinacourty clash with An Rinn, while Rathgormack will be against Clashmore/Kinsalebeg.

Liam Ó Lonáin scored two goals as An Rinn beat Portlaw 5-10 to 1-10.

Kilrossanty edged out Stradbally 1-11 to 1-8 with Alan Dunwoody netting a goal.

Westmeath

Killian Doyle's injury time goal ensured Raharney overcame Lough Lene Gaels, 2-19 to 2-17.

David Williams and Derek McNicholas struck goals for Lough Lene Gaels, who led 2-13 to 0-15 at the three quarter mark.

Raharney, though, remained cool with substitute Brian McGrath and Doyle responding with majors.

Wexford

The introduction of former Dublin star Eoghan O'Gara helped Shelmaliers secure a 2-12 to 1-12 Wexford SFC Semi-Final win over Kilanerin.

Trailing 0-10 to 0-5, Shelmaliers brought on O'Gara, who clipped a third quarter point.

Conor Kinsella replied with a goal for Kilanerin, who went 1-10 to 0-7 ahead, but Shelmaliers thundered back.

Aidan Cash and O'Gara netted goals to cap a fantastic comeback.

Brendan Halpin's early goal ensured Castletown defeated Gusserane O'Rahilly's 1-12 to 0-11.

Wicklow

Blessington and Rathnew will contest the Wicklow SFC Final.

At the interval Blessington, with Kevin Quinn and Anto McLaughlin sharp, led by 0-8 to 0-2.

Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney were much improved after the restart with a Stephen Hurley goal eventually helping them to draw level.

Jordan McGarr replied with a Blessington goal as they prevailed on a 1-11 to 1-10 scoreline.

Two second half James Stafford goals were vital as Rathnew defeated Tinahely 2-10 to 0-13.
