In the latest edition of the GAA’s official Irish language podcast, in conjunction with an Spota Dubh from Raidió na Life, former intercounty football manager Tomás Ó Flatharta chats about his life in football from playing as a child in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, west Kerry, to the time he would travel down from Dublin every week to play for his club, CLG An Ghaeltacht.
He explains why he eventually transferred to Cuala and then to Kilmacud Crokes and he chats frankly abut his experiences as selector under Páidí Ó Sé with Westmeath. He also tells of his different spells as an intercounty manager with Westmeath, Galway and Laois. He chats openly about the best players to play under him and his love of coaching with Kilmacud Crokes and even further afield.
