New Carlow GAA U16 competition to assist player development

Carlow GAA is introducing a new U16 competition to afford further playing opportunities in October and November.
The inaugural Cental U16 County Football Championship was launched at Netwatch Cullen Park last week and will feature six teams with matches taking place on Friday evenings.

Malachy O'Rourke appointed new Tyrone football manager

Malachy O'Rourke has been ratified as the new Tyrone senior football team manager.
The former Fermanagh and Monaghan boss has been given a three year term.
Last month Fergal Logan and Brian Dooher stepped down as joint Tyrone managers.

Mike Solan set to be ratified as Longford senior football team manager
