Kildare's James Burke has been voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

Burke starred in Saturday's Christy Ring Cup Final earning 5, 218 votes on the Official GAA Instagram page with Donegal's Declan Coulter second and Sligo's Kevin Gilmartin third.

James Burke was Kildare's inspiration during a fine Christy Ring Cup Final triumph over London at GAA headquarters.

Burke contributed eight points, including five from play, for the impressive Lilywhites.

Declan Coulter was in great scoring form as Donegal earned Nicky Rackard Cup glory.

A 1-10 haul confirmed Coulter's importance to the Donegal cause as they shrugged off Warwickshire's spirited resistance.

Kevin Gilmartin netted a hat-trick of goals for Sligo during Saturday's eventful Lory Meagher Cup decider at Croke Park.

During a frenetic encounter Gilmartin landed the blows that mattered for an improving Sligo outfit.
