The cream of the crop will turn up at the GAA's National Games Development Centre in Abbottstown, Dublin this Sunday as Wexford club Glynn/Barntown bid to create rounders history as they contest three Senior All-Ireland finals.
They hope to become the first team in the game’s history to win all three senior finals in Senior Men, Mixed and Women.
“The growing sport of GAA Rounders is showcasing the best in class this weekend at the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown," says GAA Rounders President Michael Dowling.
“What an occasion we have in the three senior finals. The Glynn/Barntown club from Wexford are in three senior finals and out to make history. No club has ever held the three senior titles at the same time in GAA Rounders history.
“Glynn/Barntown`s form suggests that they have a great chance of making the dream a reality. It`s a tall order. At the moment they hold two out of the three senior titles.”
The first game of the day is the Men’s Final with Glynn/Barntown going toe to toe with Monaghan’s Carrickmacross. In the league stages the two teams met and shared the points and both teams progressed to the semi-finals.
Before Covid halted play last season both these teams recorded impressive victories in their semi-finals with Glynn/Barntown overcoming the much-experienced Limekiln side from Dublin, and Carrickmacross eventually overcoming The Heath of Laois after a replay.
Whatever happens there will be a new name on the Corn Aodh Nua cup as neither Glynn/Barntown nor Carrickmacross have ever won a Senior Men's title previously.

The second match of the day is the Ladies Final at 1:30pm.
Glynn/Barntown are looking to seal their 5th title in a row and go in as hot favourites in this game. But Breaffy from Mayo have other things on their mind as they try to knock the Wexford side off their perch and in the process claim their first All-Ireland Ladies senior title.
They also played in the league stages with the reigning champions coming out on top in a very entertaining game. This promises to be a cracker.
The last game of the day is the Mixed Final at 4pm and it has the potential to be the most interesting game of the three.
Glynn/Barntown play Erne Eagles of Cavan who are looking to win their third mixed title with their last one coming back in 2005. It would mean all the more to them as the Dympna Reilly Cup is named after one of their own.
Dympna Reilly from Loughduff was a five-time All-Star winner and a hugely popular member of the Erne Gaels club but sadly passed away in 2018.
Glynn/Barntown might be reigning champions, but the team from Mullahoran in Cavan aren’t coming to Dublin to make up the numbers.
"The Senior Mixed final is the most fascinating final of the day," says Michael Dowling. "Reigning All-Ireland champions Glynn/Barntown lay their title on the line against the wily campaigners Erne Eagles from Mullahoran in Cavan. Backboned by some of the most successful men`s players in GAA Rounders history the Cavan team are certainly not coming to Dublin to make up the numbers.
“The mettle of the Glynn/Barntown team is going to get a severe examination next Sunday.
"Jay Malone, Amanda Howlin, Yvonne Hanley and the rest of the Glynn/Barntown team will have to bring their A game to come out on top in this battle.”
If you can’t make it to Abbotstown on Sunday, the senior finals will be streamed live for the first time. Check out the Facebook Rounders page and the Rounders GAA website for more details which is sure to be a great day.
