Barry O'Sullivan inspired Dingle to a 1-14 to 1-11 victory over St Kieran's, while Ivan Parker contributed 2-8 as St Brendan's outfoxed Mid Kerry 3-18 to 1-18.

Thurles Sarsfields will advance to the knockout stages following a narrow 1-27 to 3-16 triumph over a gritty Upperchurch-Drombane team.

Though Sars led by seven at the break goals from Michael Lee and Padraig Green had Upperchurch-Drombane level early in the second half.

A Lee point edged the underdogs ahead, but Pa Bourke and the Maher brothers steered Sarsfields to victory.

Sarsfields now face Drom-Inch, who drew with Upperchurch-Drombane last week, on Wednesday.

Aidan Harte's goal ensured Gort shaded their encounter with Mullagh by 1-19 to 1-16.

Ger Farragher guided Castlegar to a narrow 2-10 to 0-14 win over Craughwell, while Sarsfield held on to prevail 1-17 to 2-12 despite a late Johnny Coen goal for Loughrea.
