The GAA expresses the sympathy of its members to Uachtarán Aogán Ó Fearghail and his family on the passing of his father, Aidan Farrell.
A moment’s silence will be observed at all Allianz League games today as a mark of respect and funeral arrangements will be confirmed in due course.
GAA Director General Páraic Duffy said: “On behalf of the wider membership of the Association I would like to offer my condolences to Aidan’s wife Katie, to our President Aogán and his family and wide circle of friends at this very sad time.”
