This morning’s All-Ireland SHC Quarter-Final draw has thrown up two mouth watering ties.

Defending champions Tipperary will play 2017 All-Ireland champions Galway and Waterford will play 2013 All-Ireland champions Clare.

Waterford manager, Liam Cahill, admits recovery will be key this week as all four teams played matches over the weekend.

“It’s a big ask and it’s been a big ask for every team that’s had to go this route," said Cahill. "It’s going to take a bit of work but it’s something we’ll have to get our heads around.

“It’s the same for everybody and it’s important we stay in this championship as long as we can.”

If Waterford or Galway win their quarter-final then there won't be a draw required for the semi-final as there can't be repeat pairings of a provincial final in the All-Ireland semi-final.

A semi-final draw will only be required if both Tipperary and Clare win their quarter-final ties.
