Favourites Tipperary were always in control at the LIT Gaelic Grounds to set up an interesting provincial semi-final against Clare.

Leading by 0-14 to 0-7 at the interval, Tipperary dominated after the restart.

Tony Cahill, Peter McGarry, and Stephen Ferncombe impressed for Tipperary in the opening period with Kerry goalkeeper Darragh Quinlan making some fine saves.

After the restart Tipperary remained in the ascendancy hitting 14 points without reply.
