Tadhg Haran, who won a Leinster SHC medal with Galway in 2012, claimed the All Ireland M Donnelly Poc Fada title.

Haran, a hurler with Liam Mellows Corribside, also played in the Galway SFC Final for Salthill-Knocknacarra against Corofin.

On a dramatic day on Annaverna Mountain with Laois' Eoin Reilly and Limerick's John Chawke also in the hunt.

Kilkenny goalkeeper Eoin Murphy, Clare's James McInerney and Brendan Cummins were also in the reckoning.

Galway's Susan Earner won the Camogie competition with Clare's Aine O'Loughlin second and Cork's Aoife Murray third.

In the Under 16 boys event Offaly's Cathal Kiely triumphed for the second year in a row, while Cork's Molly Lynch won the Under 16 Camogie event
