Barry Walsh and Barry O'Flynn starred as Cork cruised to a 3-19 to 0-15 win over Waterford at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Walsh finished with a 2-5 haul, while O'Flynn contributed 1-7 for an impressive Cork outfit.

At the interval Cork led 2-11 to 0-10 and were never seriously threatened after the restart.

Limerick defeated Clare 2-20 to 0-22 at TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Goals in either half from Seán Duff and Robert O'Farrell proved to be crucial scores for Limerick.
