The public has voted Wexford’s Rory O’Connor the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The richly talented attacker received 4,893 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Cork’s Conor Lehane (4,820) and Antrim’s James McNaughton (4,628).

Rory O'Connor – Wexford

The St. Martin's man had a huge role to play in Wexford's defeat of Kerry. He finished with a personal tally 1-04 of which 1-03 came from play.

Conor Lehane – Cork

The Antrim defence struggled to contain the Cork maestro in Saturday’s Preliminary Quarter-Final. The Corkman finished with a total of 1-08 of which 0-05 came from play.

James McNaughton – Antrim

James McNaughton was heroic for Antrim in their Preliminary Quarter-Final defeat to Cork, keeping his side in the game up until late on. He scored a total of 1-09 for the Saffrons with 1-03 coming from play.
