Registration is now open for our fifth hurling specific webinar, Nursery Hurling: Values and Guidelins, Part 2 which takes place next Monday, June 8, at 8pm Irish Time.

This workshop will be presented by Damien Coleman, Connacht Hurling Development Manager. It is a follow on to the very well received Part 1 and will attempt to link the values and thinking behind coaching our youth to the practical elements of the game. Damien will be joined on the night by Niall Williams, Camogie Coach Education and Development Coordinator. Between them they will bring attendees through the various stages from gripping a hurl to playing Go-Games, with plenty of practical examples. This is a “must attend” for anyone starting out on their coaching journey or for those that want to bring a structured approach to their coaching.

Again, it is a great opportunity to recruit some new coaches for your club and demystify the coaching of hurling and camogie. So maybe pick up the phone and ask some “potentials” to register. They will be taken through a step by step approach to guiding our young players from “novice” stage to “Go-Games participant”. Remember – “Some of our best Juvenile Coaches never played the game themselves”
