Antrim Senior Hurling Championship Final

Sunday September 13

It has been another Antrim SHC packed with drama.

Ultimately that is why so much interest surrounds this weekend's decider when holders Dunloy and Loughgiel Shamrocks clash.

Liam Watson adds an extra layer of class in attack for Loughgiel, who haven't triumphed at this level since 2016.

In the intervening years Dunloy have collected two titles and remain a hugely respected force.

The Ennis club have plenty of capable performers including David Reidy and Shane O'Donnell.

Sixmilebridge, though, with Davy Fitzgerald involved on the line, continue to deliver impressive displays in the Banner county.

O'Callaghans Mills are enjoying an encouraging campaign, but will be fully aware of the threat posed by the Tony Kelly inspired Ballyea.

AIB All Ireland Club champions Shamrocks Ballyhale, with TJ Reid to the fore, have scored heavily en route to the penultimate stage.

James Stephens' enduring passion, though, will pose questions.
