Martin Comerford has been ratified as a new Kilkenny selector for the 2020 campaign.
The O'Loughlin Gaels clubman will join Brian Cody's backroom team for the upcoming inter-county campaign.
Comerford won six All Ireland medals with Kilkenny during a glittering career.
A Kilkenny GAA statement confirmed that Comerford will be involved alongside Cody, James McGarry, and DJ Carey.
"Following a County Board meeting on Tuesday night, Martin Comerford was ratified as a selector for the Kilkenny senior hurling team for 2020," the Kilkenny GAA statement said.
"Martin will join Brian Cody and his management team and brings a wealth of experience as a former Kilkenny senior hurler, winning six All-Irelands in his time as player."
