Three of Gaelic Games’ most stylish hurlers, both on and off the pitch, today launched LittlewoodsIreland’s #StyleOfPlay campaign for the 2019 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. 2017 All Ireland and All-Star winner Gearoid McInernery, reigning All Ireland Champion Tom Morrisey and top scorer of 2018 Peter Duggan were in Dublin to announce the launch of the campaign.

The #StyleOfPlay campaign will continue throughout the Championship season bringing together the worlds of sport and fashion while showcasing the style and skills of the players representing their counties this summer. 2019 marks the third year as a sponsor of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship for Ireland’s leading online department store. Littlewoods Ireland also sponsor the National Camogie League and the GAA Go Games Provincial Days, which saw 6,000 children getting to play in Croke park earlier this month.

Speaking at the announcement, Geoff Scully, Managing Director of Littlewoods Ireland said: “This is our third year in partnership with the GAA and the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and we are delighted to be on board. Over the last three years we have showcased the stylish game of Hurling, and we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact as sponsors of the GAA; creating a greater conversation around the games as well as looking at style both on and off the pitch.”

Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael John Horan said: “The GAA Hurling Championship is almost upon us and after the highs of last year we look forward to working with Littlewoods Ireland to promote the games and the competition as a whole to as wide an audience as possible. This is our third year working with Littlewoods Ireland and they bring a unique approach to their promotion of our partnership and I wish them well ahead of what should be another memorable summer of hurling.”
