The Leitrim hurlers celebrated their Allianz HL D3B victory over Cavan on Saturday in style when they were awarded with their 2019 Lory Meagher Cup medals at the Leitrim GAA Awards in the Bushel Hotel, Carrick-On-Shannon.

The medals were presented on the night by special guest, Micheál Ó Muirceartaigh, who spoke with typical eloquence.

Enda Moreton was awarded Leitrim Senior County Hurler of the Year for the key role he played in the Lory Meagher Cup success.

James Glancy, who scored the crucial goal for Leitrim in the Meagher Cup Final against Lancashire that brought the game to extra-time, was crowned Club Hurler of the Year for the key role he played in Carrick Hurling’s county championship success.
