John Kiely will remain in charge of the Limerick hurling team.

On Monday evening at a Limerick GAA County Committee Meeting Kiely was ratified for another two year term with an option of third.

The highly regarded Kiely steered Limerick to All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship glory in 2018.

In March Limerick claimed the Allianz Hurling League title before earning Munster success in June.

Subsequently Limerick did suffer a narrow All Ireland SHC Semi-Final loss to Kilkenny.

Paul Kinnerk, Alan Cunningham, and Aonghus O'Brien are still part of Kiely's backroom team.

Donal O'Grady, who captained Limerick to provincial success in 2013, is set to act as a coach and selector, with Mikey Kiely expected to be involved in a Strength and Conditioning role.
