GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

1: Jason Forde (Tipperary) - 6,907 votes

2: TJ Reid (Kilkenny) - 6,790 votes

3: Rory O'Connor (Wexford) - 4,234 votes

Another Thurles thriller was ultimately decided by two opportunistic Jason Forde goals in extra-time as Tipperary eventually overcame Limerick.

Forde is in excellent form for the Premier County and finished the absorbing match with a 2-11 haul to underline his value in some style.

TJ Reid was at his brilliant best contributing 0-15, including four from play, as Kilkenny defeated Wexford at Innovate Wexford Park.

Following a shaky start in the competition, Kilkenny have recovered in excellent fashion with Reid remaining an influential figure for the classy Cats.

Promising Wexford youngster Rory O'Connor carried the fight against Kilkenny on Sunday drilling a dozen points for Davy Fitzgerald's team.

O'Connor's emergence adds another quality forward to the Wexford panel, who will be eager to produce in the upcoming Leinster Hurling Championship.
