The Tipperary star received 4,375 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Clare’s Diarmuid Ryan (3,627) and Westmeath’s Niall O’Brien (2,698).

Jake Morris (Tipperary)

Jake Morris sparked in the Tipp attack in their epic Munster SHC draw with Limerick. He scored five points from play and consistently took the fight to Limerick with his eagerness to run hard with the ball and take on opposition defenders.

Diarmuid Ryan (Clare)

Diarmuid Ryan hit a spectacular winner for Clare in their hugely entertaining victory over Cork. He excelled throughout the game in both in defence and attack, scoring four points from wing-back.

Niall O’Brien (Westmeath)

Niall O’Brien sparked Westmeath’s incredible Leinster SHC comeback victory over Wexford by scoring two second-half goals. The livewire attacker finished with a personal tally of 2-3.
