Cork’s Seamus Harnedy, Clare’s Tony Kelly, and Limerick’s Diarmaid Byrnes are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

Voting will close at 12pm on Tuesday, May 17, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
Seamus Harnedy – Cork
Seamus Harnedy typified the combination of spirit and skill that saw Cork claim a very impressive win over Waterford. He scored five points from play and was extremely dogged in his desire to win hard ball.
Tony Kelly – Clare
Tony Kelly was the Banner County’s main man in their thrilling draw with Limerick. He scored 16 points, five of them from play, and played with his usual distinctive dash in all aspects of the game.
Diarmaid Byrnes – Limerick
Byrnes is having an outstanding year and was immense again for Limerick against Clare. His accuracy from frees (he converted seven frees and one ’65) kept Limerick in the game at times and he also chipped in with an outstanding point from play.
