Waterford’s Jamie Barron, Clare’s Tony Kelly, and Cork’s Robert Downey are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, July 27, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

Jamie Barron (Waterford)

Jamie Barron provided much of the power for Waterford’s electric win over Galway in Saturday’s All-Ireland SHC Round 2 Qualifier. He scored four points and some of his link play in the middle of the field was a joy to watch.

Tony Kelly (Clare)

Another weekend, another sensational display by Tony Kelly for Clare. He scored 1-12 for Clare in their All-Ireland SHC Qualifier defeat to Cork and would have completed a sensational injury-time comeback for the Banner had his last-gasp shot not been brilliantly saved by Patrick Collins.

Robert Downey (Cork)

Downey produced a towering display at full-back for Cork in their victory over Clare. He held the dangerous Aron Shanagher scoreless and made two goal-saving tackles.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
