Conor Whelan (Galway)
Whelan was heroic in defeat for Galway in Sunday’s Leinster SHC Final. He scored a sublime 1-6 from play and set up Jason Flynn’s second-half goal.
Aaron Gillane (Limerick)
Once again Aaron Gillane was the point of the Limerick spear as they defeated Clare to win a fifth Munster title in a row. He finished with a personal scoring tally of 1-11, 1-3 of which came from play.
Eoin Cody (Kilkenny)
Kilkenny captain Eoin Cody led by example as the Cats won a dramatic Leinster title. He scored three points from play, won multiple frees, and was their chief ball-winner in attack.
Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
