Eanna Murphy – Galway

In a match of fine margins, Murphy’s three first-half saves were crucial to Galway’s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final victory over Cork. He also set up a number of scores with his laser-guided puck-outs.

Shane O’Donnell – Clare

O’Donnell’s second-half performance was crucial to Clare’s dramatic All-Ireland SHC quarter-final win over Wexford. While other team-mates struggled, he was a consistent outlet in attack, scoring two points and setting up many more.

Diarmuid Ryan – Clare

Ryan is quickly developing into one of the finest half-backs in the country. He was excellent against Wexford, striding forward to score three points from play.
