TJ Reid was at his brilliant best for Kilkenny in Sunday's Leinster SHC thriller between Kilkenny and Galway at Nowlan Park.

The Ballyhale Shamrocks attacker struck 2-11, including 2-4 from play, but it still wasn't enough to deny the visitors.

Cathal Mannion (Galway)

Cathal Mannion drilled eight points - seven from play - as Galway defeated Kilkenny in an absorbing encounter.

The splendid Mannion also crafted a first half goal for Conor Whelan as Galway enjoyed a fine victory.

Aaron Gillane (Limerick)

Aaron Gillane showed his class as Limerick cruised to a surprisingly emphatic win over Clare.

The prolific Gillane registered 1-11 for John Kiely's outfit, who now face Tipperary at Semple Stadium next Sunday.
