Cool centre back Robert Byrne was an instrumental figure for Tipperary throughout Sunday's Bord Gais Energy All Ireland Under 21 Final against Cork at the Gaelic Grounds.
Portroe clubman Byrne dropped deep making several important interventions, especially in the closing stages, as Tipperary secured a surprise victory.
Conor Cahalane (Cork)
A late inclusion in the Cork team Conor Cahalane contributed a dynamic display, while also managing to venture forward to score 1-3 from play.
Cahalane's first half goal was a beauty, while his industry was always evident in an action packed encounter.
Brian McGrath (Tipperary)
From the famous Loughmore-Castleiney family Brian McGrath was influential for a solid Tipperary full back line.
