Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, February 18 and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
Shane Conway – Kerry
Shane Conway put down an incredible week of hurling.
On Wednesday he was hailed as the “Messi of Hurling” by UCC manager Tom Kingston after helping the Cork university retain the Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup.
He scored nine points in that match and then scored another seven for the Kerry hurlers on Saturday as they defeated Meath to make it three wins from three in Division 2A of the Allianz Hurling League.
Rian McBride – Dublin
Rian McBride followed up his good form in the Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup for DCU with a man of the match performance for Dublin against Carlow on Saturday.
The classy midfielder made light of the terrible weather conditions in Netwatch Cullen Park to score four points from play.
He was a creative fulcrum for his team too, winning a huge amount of ball in the middle third of the field and using it wisely.
Tony Kelly – Clare
Tony Kelly is arguably the form player in the country at the moment and was excellent again for the Clare hurlers against Laois on Sunday.
The howling wind and rain made hurling a real challenge in Cusack Park, but Kelly was as imperious as ever.
He scored eight points, three of them from play, and never stopped running in what was a hugely industrious performance.
