Eoin Cadogan produced a wholehearted performance as Cork caused a Munster SHC surprise against Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

A solid Cork defensive effort restricted Limerick to two second half points from play with Cadogan outstanding throughout.

Michael Breen rifled over six points from a variety of distances and angles as Tipperary proved far too strong for Waterford at Semple Stadium.

Breen was effective for Liam Sheedy's rapidly improving team, who have chalked up two impressive victories.

The dashing Shaun Murphy contributed three points during Wexford's exciting Leinster SHC draw against Dublin at Parnell Park.

Murphy's scores were hugely important as Wexford came from behind to lead late on before Dublin earned a share of the spoils.
