GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

1: Peter Duggan (Clare) – 4, 326 votes

2: Aaron GIllane (Limerick) – 3, 944 votes

3: Walter Walsh (Kilkenny) – 3,216 votes

Despite finishing on the losing team Peter Duggan ended with a remarkable 0-19 haul at the Gaelic Grounds in Monday’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Quarter-Final.

Duggan clipped two from play, while his free taking was immense throughout as Clare were beaten in a memorable match by Limerick.

Aaron Gillane is a prolific attacker for Limerick and added 2-11 to his spring account on Monday.

Gillane's first half goal was critical because Limerick were struggling before the Mary I student rattled the Clare net.

Walter Walsh was a key figure as Kilkenny eventually overcame Offaly at Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park in Monday’s other Allianz Hurling League Quarter-Final.

The Kilkenny forward registered four points from play as the Cats overcame a battling Offaly in Tullamore.
