Cian Lynch voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week
The public has voted Limerick's Cian Lynch the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
Limerick star Cian Lynch is the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
The classy attacker received 7,740 votes from the public ahead of Kilkenny’s Huw Lawlor (3,298), and Westmeath’s Robbie Greville (2,970).
Cian Lynch (Limerick)
The Patrickswell magician cast a spell over Limerick’s Munster SHC Final victory over Tipperary. Thanks to his ball-winning ability and vision in possession he seemed to be involved in everything good the Shannonsiders did as they turned a 10-point half-time deficit into a five-point victory.
Huw Lawlor (Kilkenny)
Huw Lawlor is now arguably the best full-back in the country. He was imperious in Kilkenny’s Leinster SHC Final win over Dublin, mopping up a huge amount of ball both in the air and on the deck.
Robbie Greville (Westmeath)
The all-action Greville was man of the match for Westmeath in their Joe McDonagh Cup Final victory over Kerry. He scored four points from play and delivered some great ball into his forwards from midfield.
