Alan Connolly is this week's GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The public has voted Alan Connolly this week’s GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The Cork attacker received 4,067 votes on the GAA's official Instagram page which put him ahead of Clare’s Shane O’Donnell (3,113) and Kilkenny’s John Donnelly (1979).

Alan Connolly (Cork)

The Cork full-forward just can’t stop scoring goals and bagged another three of them plus a point from play in Cork’s hugely impressive Munster SHC victory over Tipperary.

Shane O'Donnell (Clare)

O’Donnell’s magic hands pulled the strings in attack for Clare once again in their Munster SHC victory over Waterford. He scored two points from play but it was his ability to create for others that really stood out.

John Donnelly (Kilkenny)

John Donnelly is having a fine season and produced his best game yet for the Cats with his seven points from play crucial to a hard-fought Leinster SHC victory over Dublin.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
