Advice for supporters attending the All-Ireland SHC Final

Kilkenny and Limerick will contest the All-Ireland SHC Final for the second year in a row.

The GAA wishes to advise supporters travelling to Sunday’s All-Ireland senior hurling final between Limerick and Kilkenny to be conscious of the following information:

· Come early and enjoy the atmosphere, and entertainment.

· Stiles are open from 1pm.

· Have your ticket downloaded in advance.

· In the interest of efficient and effective crowd management, patrons will not be allowed to meet or congregate on Jones' Rd before or after the game and will be asked to follow the instructions of stewards and Gardaí at all times.

· Supporters are reminded that flares and smoke cannisters are dangerous and illegal and are strictly prohibited.

· Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

· Musical entertainment will be provided by The Mary Wallopers who will perform on the pitch from 1.45pm. The Saarloos will perform from 1.30pm on the Cusack Stand concourse.

· The silver jubilee team are the 1998 All-Ireland champions, Offaly, who will be honoured at 14.45pm.

· Remember Croke Park is in a residential area - Please Respect Our Neighbours.

· The GAA anticipates that Sunday’s attendance will be a capacity crowd. Tickets should only have been sourced through official channels and supporters should not use unofficial sources
