Davy Fitzgerald's first competitive match as Wexford manager will be at home against UCD in the first round of the Bord na Móna Walsh Cup on January 8.

The Slaneysiders will also play Carlow and Dublin, who beat them in the 2016 Bord na Móna Walsh Cup Final, in Group 3.

Kilkenny manager Brian Cody will start his 19th season as Kilkenny manager with a home match against DCU, and the Cats will also have to contend with Westmeath and Antrim in Group 2.

Group 1 is made up of Galway, DIT, Laois, and NUI Galway, while Meath, Offaly, Kildare, and IT Carlow will contest Group 4.
