Vinny Corey has been ratified as the new Monaghan senior football team manager.
The former Monaghan captain has been given a three year term. Corey was involved when Séamus 'Banty' McEnaney was in charge as a coach and selector.
A Monaghan GAA statement said: "Vinny with his backroom team of Martin Corey, Dermot McArdle and Gabriel Bannigan were ratified at tonight’s county committee meeting in the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan for a three year term.
"The backroom team will be finalised in the coming weeks."
