Séamus McEnaney was ratified as the new Monaghan manager on Monday evening.

McEnaney, who was the Monaghan boss between 2004 and 2010, has assembled a high profile backroom team to assist him in 2020.

Peter Donnelly, Conor Laverty, David McCague, and Ray Boyne will all be involved with McEnaney, who has also previously been in charge of Meath and Wexford.

“It is an honour and a privilege to get the opportunity to manage this group of Monaghan players," McEnaney says.

"The management team and I are relishing the challenge of building on the previous great work of Malachy O’Rourke and ensure that Monaghan continues to compete at the highest level.”
