Laois staged a dramatic second half revival to earn an impressive win over Down in Pairc Esler.
Trailing by 0-9 to 0-5 at the interval Laois came thundering back in the second period.
The visitors bagged goals courtesy of Colm Murphy and Paul Cahillane either side of a Donal O'Hare major as John Sugrue's outfit prevailed.
At Fraher Field Wicklow goalkeeper Mark Jackson landed a late free to secure the spoils against Waterford.
Patrick O'Connor's goal was a key score for John Evans' team, who eked out a victory when Jackson struck the decisive score.
