Allianz Football League Division Three

Louth 1-14 Limerick 1-12

Ciaran Downey and Sam Mulroy struck vital late points as Louth defeated Limerick 1-14 to 1-12 at UL.

Mickey Harte's Louth scored the last seven points of the match to secure a morale boosting win.

Trailing 1-12 to 1-7 with 15 minutes remaining Louth responded impressively.

Mulroy drilled four points in a row to narrow the gap to the minimum before Ciaran Byrne levelled.

Then Downey and Mulroy fired over crucial scores in the dying stages for a determined Louth outfit.

An early Liam Jackson goal edged Louth ahead, but Limerick, with Josh Ryan prominent, responded to lead 0-8 to 1-4 at the interval.

A 37th minute Hugh Bourke goal for Limerick was followed by a couple of Ryan points as the home team went five clear.

Louth, though, summoned a dramatic revival.

Allianz Football League Division Four

London 2-5 Leitrim 0-9

This is turning into a hugely encouraging Allianz Football League Division Four campaign for London, who defeated Leitrim 2-5 to 0-9 at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.

Michael Maher's rapidly improving team chalked up a third win on the spin, edging out Leitrim in Bekan.

James Gallagher's 58th minute goal was a critical score for London, who finished strongly to defeat Leitrim.

At the interval Leitrim led by 0-7 to 1-1 following a Liam Gavaghan goal for London.

Keith Beirne struck five points for Andy Moran's outfit, but it wasn't enough as London maintained their brilliant start to the 2022 campaign.
