Antrim 1-19 Longford 0-12

Westmeath 1-12 Limerick 1-6

Antrim enjoyed a comfortable 1-19 to 0-12 success over Longford at Corrigan Park.

Within a minute Antrim had struck for a goal as Tomas McCann converted a penalty following a foul on Odhran Eastwood.

That gave Antrim a dream start with Longford struggling to cope against Enda McGinley's improving team.

Tomas McCann was influential, while Marc Jordan also ventured forward to land a fine score for Antrim.

Ruairi McCann and Ryan Murray also contributed points for Antrim, who led at the break by 1-11 to 0-3.

When the action recommenced Longford were spirited with substitute Oran Kenny, Darren Gallagher, and Jayson Matthews providing points.

Antrim, though, were never seriously troubled with Longford's Eoghan McCormack sent off late on for two yellow card offences.

Westmeath dominated the second half to secure a 1-12 to 1-6 win over Limerick in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick led at the break by 1-5 to 0-5, but only managed to register one score after half-time.

Adrian Enright's 27th minute goal ensured Limerick were ahead at the turnaround, but Westmeath replied in the second period.

An opportunistic Luke Loughlin goal was a critical moment, while Ronan O'Toole and John Heslin fired over important points.
