Louth caused Laois problems early on with Ryan Burns netting a goal, but the victors recovered impressively.
Colm Murphy and Moore netted goals for Laois, who can expect a tough test from Offaly.
Edenderry's Jordan Hayes struck the decisive blow for Offaly in their 1-6 to 0-6 success over Wexford.
Shane Tierney was another to impress, who also feature former Athlone Town goalkeeper Paddy Dunican at centre-forward.

EirGrid Munster Under 21 Championship Semi-Finals
Waterford v Kerry, Fraher Field, 7.30pm
Clare examined Kerry's resolve last week, but Jack O'Connor's team had the character and class to respond when it truly mattered.
A lengthy injury list disturbed Kerry at this level last year, and they are striving to win a first provincial title since 2008.
Matthew O'Sullivan bagged Kerry's goal in the 1-17 to 2-8 triumph over Clare, while Matthew Flaherty, Conor Geaney, and Cathal Bambury were others to impress.
Waterford will hope to produce a spirited performance with The Nire's Stephen Ryan, Dylan Guiry, and Conor Gleeson key figures.

The Premier County led in the closing stages before Limerick forced extra-time and the Treatymen edged ahead.
Michael Donovan and Brian Donovan landed the decisive late scores for Limerick against Tipperary.
But Killian Ryan (broken hand) and Josh Ryan (suspended) will miss the game for Declan Brouder's team.

EirGrid Ulster Under 21 Championship Quarter-Finals
Tyrone v Donegal, Healy Park, 8pm
The counties participated in a tense provincial Semi-Final clash last year and an equally hard fought match is expected.
Donegal's Eoghan Gallagher and Stephen McBrearty have featured in Rory Gallagher's senior panel.
Tyrone are captained by Michael McKernan, with Trillick's Lee Brennan a gifted forward.
Fermanagh v Cavan, Brewster Park, 8pm
Pete McGrath takes charge of Fermanagh, who will be hoping to cause a surprise on home turf.
Conor McShea and David Teague are important forwards for Fermanagh, who will be aware of Cavan's good recent record at this grade.
Eoin Sommerville and Caoimhin O'Reilly are good footballers for Cavan, who will be gunning to advance to the last four.
FERMANAGH: Jack Kelly; Ben Daly, Rory McCaffrey, Conor Carney; Cian McManus, Michael Og McGarrigle, Danny Leonard; Niall Clarke, Damhan Sanderson; Keelan Kelly, Connor McAuley, Conor McShea; James Toye, David Teague, Conor McGee.
Armagh v Down, Athletic Grounds, 8pm
A year ago Down suffered a 5-16 to 0-9 defeat at Pairc Esler against Armagh.
Conor Deegan is in charge of Down and hopes players such as Mark Reid and Conor Francis can make an impact.
The promising Oisin O'Neill is a serious doubt for Armagh with a hamstring problem.
Monaghan v Derry, Inniskeen, 8pm
Holders Monaghan had to stay cool under pressure to defeat Antrim at The Dub last Wednesday.
Seamus McGarry was outstanding for the Saffrons, but Ciaran McBride's team still prevailed.
Dermot Gleeson and David Garland registered Monaghan's goals, who are without star forward Barry McGinn for the rest of the campaign due to a cruciate knee ligament injury.
Derry will include several current senior panelists with Ben McKinless and Danny Tallon highly rated players.
