Electric Ireland Munster MFC Final
Clare v Kerry, LIT Gaelic Grounds, 7pm
Kerry's underage pedigree down south is well documented with seven Munster minor titles in a row collected.
Recently, though, Clare have started to show significant improvement and this evening's encounter will be a third final appearance in four years.
The previous two culminated in heavy losses against Kerry, but there is a healthy respect for the development work being carried out by Clare.
At the penultimate stage Clare cruised to a convincing 4-20 to 1-10 success over Limerick at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.
It was a very slick and impressive display from the Banner boys, who are managed by Dermot Coughlan.
Cillian McGroary netted two majors, while Craig Riordan and Dylan O'Brien also rattled the Limerick net.
Undoubtedly a much more demanding test awaits against Kerry, who overcame Cork following a high octane encounter.
In the closing stages of extra-time Kerry eventually shrugged off Cork's spirited resistance to emerge 0-21 to 1-15 victors.
Cian McMahon was sharp nailing eight points for the Kingdom, while Darragh O'Sullivan, William Shine, and Ruairi Burns also contributed important scores.
