Paul Finlay retires from inter-county football

Monaghan's Paul Finlay has announced his retirement from inter-county football.
Finlay played with Monaghan for 14 years winning Ulster Senior Football Championship medals in 2013 and 2015.
In 168 appearances for Monaghan Finlay, whose father Kieran also won a provincial medal with the county in 1979, scored 5-544.
Finlay captained Ballybay to Monaghan SFC glory in 2012 and also won a Sigerson Cup with Sligo IT, kicking a late winning point in the 2002 decider against UCC at Markievicz Park.
