Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher have been appointed new joint managers of Tyrone.

Mickey Harte recently stood down as Tyrone boss, but Logan and Dooher have been ratified for a three year term.

On Wednesday evening Tyrone GAA confirmed the decision.

"Tyrone GAA wish to formally announce the appointment of Fergal Logan and Brian Dooher as the new joint managers of the Tyrone senior football team," the statement said.

"Both have been appointed and ratified for a three year period."

Logan featured for Tyrone in the 1995 All Ireland SFC Final. Now a highly regarded coach Logan led Tyrone to All Ireland Under 21 glory in 2015 alongside Dooher and Peter Canavan.

Dooher won three All Ireland senior medals during a glittering player career with Tyrone.
