An early goal from Emmet O'Shea proved to be the decisive score as Kerry proved too strong for Clare.
O'Shea struck in the 11th minute for the Kingdom in front of 1,770 spectators in Tralee.
Clare were spirited throughout, but Kerry still held a commanding 1-8 to 0-3 lead at half-time.
After the restart the visitors continued to battle, but Kerry closed out the deal to win impressively.
