This is the third year that John West have sponsored the underage tournament, which is the biggest competition of its kind in Europe. Throughout its sponsorship of the Féile, John West has focused on encouraging children to participate in Gaelic Games while emphasising the importance natural protein plays in fuelling a young athlete.

John West General Manager Peter Rooney said: We have been delighted to continue our Féile sponsorship into 2018. The Féile competitions are such unique events and John West feel privileged to be a part of them. We would like to congratulate the winners from this weekend’s games. It’s clear that so much training and commitment was put in by all partaking teams which should be equally acknowledged.”

GAA President, John Horan said: “The John West Féile competitions bring out the best in everyone involved from the hosts, players, match officials and everyone who took part in organising this fantastic festival of Gaelic Games this weekend. I would like to offer a special thank you to the local people of Westmeath, Longford and Connacht for all their help in making these competitions so special, while I'd also like to thank sponsors John West Ireland for their support.”
