Westmeath’s John Heslin, Cavan’s Gearoid McKiernan, and Sligo’s Pat Spillane are this week’s GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees.

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Voting will close at 12pm on Tuesday, June 21, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

John Heslin – Westmeath

John Heslin turned in a seriously classy performance for Westmeath in their Tailteann Cup victory over Offaly. He scored five points from play himself, and was a potent creative force too.

Gearoid McKiernan – Cavan

When Sligo came on strong in the second-half of the Tailteann Cup semi-final it was McKiernan who did most to keep Cavan calm with some key scores, finishing with a personal tally of four points.

Pat Spillane – Sligo

Every time Spillane raced forward with the ball for Sligo against Cavan a buzz went through the crowd. He finished with two point from play after a very energetic midfield display.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
