GAA.ie Footballer of the Week
1: Eamonn Brannigan (Galway) - 5,989 votes
2: Luke Connolly (Nemo Rangers) - 2,572 votes
3: Fintan Kelly (Monaghan) - 2,497 votes
The pacy Eamonn Brannigan struck 1-3 as Galway maintained their excellent Allianz Football League form with a fine away win over Kerry in Tralee.
Brannigan, who hurled at minor and Under 21 level for the Tribesmen, is a key figure when Galway break from deep and the St. Michael's clubman is in splendid form for Kevin Walsh's team.
Luke Connolly's precise finishing decided a thrilling tussle as Nemo Rangers eventually pulled clear against Slaughtneil at O'Moore Park.
While Tomas O Se used all his experience and guile throughout for Nemo, Connolly's 2-5 haul ensures the Cork outfit can now look forward to a trip to GAA headquarters next month.
Fintan Kelly impressed as Monaghan carved out an important victory against Tyrone under the Saturday night lights in Castleblayney.
Kelly has operated in several different roles for Monaghan, but he made a significant impact in the early stages drilling some brilliant scores for Malachy O'Rourke's men.
Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers on the Official GAA Instagram page.**
