The classy Monaghan attacker received 6, 633 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Kerry's Diarmuid O'Connor (5, 382) and Dublin's Colm Basquel (4, 116).

When Monaghan require scores and inspiration Conor McManus usually obliges. Introduced in the second half against Armagh on Saturday, McManus delivered with trademark style, nailing four crucial points and converting two penalties in a tense shootout.

Diarmuid O'Connor (Kerry)

Diarmuid O'Connor's drive and desire was evident throughout Kerry's impressive All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final win against Tyrone at Croke Park on Saturday. Midfielder O'Connor also notched 1-2 for Jack O'Connor's outfit.

Colm Basquel (Dublin)

Ballyboden St Enda's clubman Colm Basquel continues to impress for Dublin. A 2-2 haul in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final triumph over Mayo illustrated Basquel's class.
