Colm O'Rourke has been nominated to manage the Meath senior football team.

The Management Committee of Meath GAA have recommended that Colm O’Rourke be put before the County Committee for ratification as Meath Senior Football manager.

O’Rourke has nominated Stephen Bray and Barry Callaghan as his selectors.

One of the most gifted footballers that Meath has ever produced, in his 20-year senior inter-county career O’Rourke won two All-Ireland titles, five Leinster titles, three Allianz Football League titles, and three All-Stars.

O’Rourke, 64, has managed Meath minor and U-21 teams in the past and also managed his club Simonstown Gaels to back to back Meath titles in 2016 and 2017.
