In such a tight game where every score was hard earned **Cillian O'Connor's **seven point haul was instrumental for Mayo in their All-Ireland Quarter-Final victory over Tyrone.
The Ballintubber attacker was sharp early on nailing vital scores as Mayo started brightly.
Finishing the game with 0-7, including three points from play, O'Connor contributed handsomely for Stephen Rochford's team.
It has been a year sprinkled with brilliant** Ciaran Kilkenny** displays and his relevance to the Dublin cause was underlined again at Croke Park.
Regardless of whatever role Kilkenny has to carry out he delivers in style.
James McCarthy's injury enforced absence meant Kilkenny dropped back to wing back and he had 52 plays during another important performance for the All Ireland champions.
Throughout the All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash with Mayo, Tyrone were repeatedly driven forward by Peter Harte.
Harte scored two outrageous points from play for Mickey Harte's team, who just couldn't force a late leveller.
