Ciarain Murtagh has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Roscommon forward received 3, 478 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Derry's Shane McGuigan (3, 259) and Cork's Brian Hurley (2, 053).

Ciarain Murtagh supplied moments of real class as Roscommon and Dublin divided the spoils at Croke Park. Murtagh struck five points for Davy Burke's outfit, including three from play.

Shane McGuigan (Derry)

Shane McGuigan delivered another brilliant display as Derry drew with Monaghan at Celtic Park. The prolific Derry attacker registered nine points.

Brian Hurley (Cork)

A much improved Cork display culminated with an important win over Louth at Páirc Tailteann on Saturday. Brian Hurley's eight point haul was vital for John Cleary's team.
